Please consider helping the vicitims of the Haita earthquake by participating in the flickr Charity Print Auctions! I decided to give auctioning one of my images a try-- "Beautiful Roses," a picture that was first added to my photostream in 2007 & has become my most popular image view-wise.

The Big Cut
Almost 8 years of growing hair & it all comes off with one very jagged snip. My daughter decided it was time to go short while we went in for a trim yesterday afternoon & we'll be sending her 10 inches off to Pantene to help make wigs for those who need them. :)

A chance to show off my work
This picture (entitled "How We Spent Our Labor Day") has been chosen to be displayed in a mural exhibit which will be part of the International Bowling Museum & Hall of Fame in Arlington, TX. It feels great to be noticed (thank you flickr!), especially since this shot was taken in 2008. In fact, I had forgotten it was in my photostream. LOL
The exhibit is set to open in a few weeks. If you're in the area, go check it out!
